📋 Description

• Manage all aspects of multi-million dollar construction, refrigeration, and controls project portfolios • Maintain responsibility for project financials, administration, implementation, management, and customer satisfaction • Lead project teams through all project facets and serve as the established stakeholder point of contact • Support project development efforts to scope total solutions • Support sales functions through quote preparation, project development, and proposals • Validate project scope, cost, and schedule by reviewing contract documents and attending pre-bid validation meetings • Establish customer expectations through internal meetings • Manage change orders by identifying opportunities, recommending solutions, facilitating quotes, using pricing strategies, and closing orders • Maintain customer satisfaction, build customer relationships, investigate concerns, implement corrective actions, and develop communication plans • Qualify, oversee, award, and manage subcontractors and subcontractor execution • Establish subcontractor communication guidelines for project progress, meetings, billing expectations, and safety • Financially manage project cash flow, forecasts, expenses, collections support, applied cost, and buy-out plans • Prepare and communicate monthly backlog reviews with leaders • Create and maintain project schedules, including tasks, dependencies, milestones, critical path, and resource assignments • Identify future planning needs and resource constraints • Collaborate with the Controls Project Manager on project tasks, communications, plans, specifications, and control submittals • Lead project administration, contract penalty and liquidated damages compliance, deficiency reporting, corrective actions, business compliance, documentation, safety guidelines, and governing agency requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced understanding of the development phase related to construction energy projects and opportunities • Knowledge of construction systems and technologies • Strong leadership skills • Ability to mentor other project managers • Aptitude to influence without authority • Organizational expertise • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to successfully lead a project team • 7 plus years' experience • Ability to obtain a General Contracting license is a plus • Experience with project schedules and PM construction software • Ability to travel 25% to 50% of the time • Safety Sensitive role; may require passing additional drug screening
