📋 Description

• Perform full-cycle game localization and translation from Simplified Chinese into English • Localize in-game UI, storylines, character dialogue, and marketing copy • Conduct linguistic LQA • Polish narratives and adapt content cross-culturally • Brainstorm creatively with game teams • Complete information verification, NDA signing, qualification sample test, and onboarding • Work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during core business hours

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on game localization experience • Native or near-native English speaker • ZHCN → EN language-pair expertise • Minimum qualification through one of the following: degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies with significant translation training; 2+ years of translation experience plus a college degree; 5+ years of translation experience without a degree; or a translation certification issued by an appropriate government body • Ability to work core business hours remotely • Availability for 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day • Gaming translation/localization experience, including gaming genres, partial client lists, and estimated word count • Ability to sign a confidentiality agreement • Ability to complete a short unpaid qualification assessment/translation test • Simplified Chinese proficiency at native or bilingual, fluent, or intermediate level • English proficiency at native or bilingual, near-native, or fluent level
