📋 Description

• Provide full-cycle game localization and translation from Simplified Chinese to English • Localize in-game UI, storylines, character dialogue, and marketing copy • Perform linguistic LQA • Polish narratives and adapt content cross-culturally • Participate in creative brainstorming with game teams • Complete information verification, NDA signing, qualification sample test, and onboarding • Work during core business hours, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on game localization experience • Native or near-native English speaker • ZHCN → EN game localization expertise • Minimum one of: degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent with significant translation training); 2+ years of translation experience plus a college degree; 5+ years of translation experience without a degree; translation certification issued by an appropriate government body • Ability to work core business hours • Availability for 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday • Willingness to complete a short unpaid qualification assessment test • Must sign a confidentiality agreement • Must complete a translation test • Gaming translation/localization experience, including gaming genres, partial client lists, and estimated word count • Game-playing experience, preferably mobile games • Ability to complete information verification and onboarding
