📋 Description

• Assess, develop, and support implementation of logistics solutions that improve current and prospective clients’ business models • Review clients’ current state using appropriate tools, diagrams, and detailed data analysis to design an ideal future state • Support the Transportation Insight sales process as a hands-on leader • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, senior-level team members, and prospective clients to design profitable, operable solutions • Apply consultative selling, supply chain management, TMS implementation, and project management skills across functional departments • Price complex multimode service solutions • Provide input for producing, demonstrating, and presenting documents to prospective clients • Communicate Transportation Insight’s logistics-partner value, differentiators, and multimodal service competencies • Gather client requirements and identify key drivers for value-based supply chain improvements • Document prospects’ current supply chain programs and coordinate assessment processes and timelines • Understand clients’ systems, applications, objectives, and requirements to propose appropriate solutions • Develop solution strategies and operational frameworks with cross-functional delivery teams • Facilitate prospect strategy meetings and coordinate internal resources • Document future solutions for presentations and other documentation • Create competitive pricing strategies for Transportation Insight services • Assist sales personnel in demonstrating technology platforms that support closing new business • Communicate with prospects and clients by phone, web, and onsite interactions • Identify client needs and service improvements and report recommendations to Solutions leadership • Assess and improve the transition of clients from sales to implementation/account management • Document best practices and support continuous improvement efforts • May perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree in business or related field • MBA is preferred and required if Bachelor’s degree is not in business or a related field • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management-related fields • Minimum 4 years of complex, consultative solutions experience • Direct consulting experience in transportation, logistics, and/or TMS at the C-Suite decision-making level • Proven success driving revenue-generating solutions with tangible results • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio • LEAN/Six Sigma certification or experience is a plus • Strong technical skills, including project planning, presentation, and general business applications • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, written, and oral communication skills • Ability to operate under minimal supervision and time constraints • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with occasional weekends and evenings during peak periods • Willingness and ability to travel locally and out of state up to 15% of the time
