📋 Description

• Participate in structured virtual, classroom, and on-the-job training covering insurance policies, claim processes, systems, and procedures • Review, investigate, and document first-party property claims under direct supervision • Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third-party providers • Investigate and evaluate relevant facts and documents, including leases, contracts, and bylaws • Determine and apply coverage for building damages according to policy terms • Establish accurate scopes of damages for building and contents losses • Prepare written estimates and/or computer-assisted estimates • Communicate professionally and promptly with customers, claimants, and internal stakeholders • Maintain accurate claim activity records in claim management systems • Learn and adapt to AI, digital transformation, new technologies, system upgrades, and digital tool rollouts • Acquire and maintain relevant insurance licenses and/or UAS Remote Pilot Certification • Assess and inspect all areas of dwellings or structures • Travel extensively, including overnight stays, to support customers across multiple locations • Progress toward independent claims handling and full claims handling responsibility after successful completion of the 9-12 month program • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and one year of customer service experience • Bachelor’s Degree • Previous internship or work experience in customer service or insurance • Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license where required by state law • Valid driver's license • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Willingness to learn claims management and estimating software • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to exercise sound judgement and make effective decisions within established authority • Exceptional customer service skills • Attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively • Basic conflict resolution skills • Ability to assess and inspect roofs, attics, crawl spaces, and other confined areas • Ability to carry, set up, and climb ladders weighing approximately 38-49 pounds • Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license where required by state law • Willingness to acquire and maintain relevant Insurance License(s) and/or a UAS Remote Pilot Certification within three months of starting the job • Willingness to reside in or relocate at own expense to the assigned territory
