📋 Description

• Lead technical planning and delivery of client engagements for migrations and modernizations to AWS for Government and Defense Industrial Base customers • Provide thought leadership on scalable next-generation cloud architecture and guidance to clients • Lead cross-functional implementation teams delivering cloud modernization solutions • Lead and coach cloud engineers, including delivery oversight • Evaluate libraries, tools, and services for suitability • Write Infrastructure as Code in multiple frameworks to create independent, transferable components with stability and security • Use automation and code to help clients work more efficiently • Drive complex projects and contribute to detailed solution design • Coach and share knowledge with TrekFed team members • Lead re-platforming and refactoring efforts for existing systems • Prepare stories and tasks for team members at varying experience levels • Contribute to internal intellectual property and open-source development • Participate in delivery using Agile or other work methodologies • Build relationships with vendors and partners • Engage clients through presentations, technical decisions, and education opportunities • Research and stay current on AWS best practices and evolving capabilities • Advocate for the technical team, ensuring clear direction and efficient execution • Perform code reviews, provide feedback, and pair when beneficial • Identify opportunities to further support clients • Contribute to blog posts and attend events periodically • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and 8 years of general IT experience; or 10 years of general IT experience • 3-5+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services • 3+ years of code-defined infrastructure experience • 3+ years of Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) experience • 3+ years of experience with cloud-native patterns using services like AWS Lambda • 3-5+ years of experience architecting and building scalable, automated infrastructure • Demonstrated experience working in a consultative, client-facing consulting role • Experience with Agile Project Management or other project management methodologies • Must be a U.S. Citizen • 3-5+ years of programming experience and/or familiarity with Python, Node.js, TypeScript, GoLang, Java, C#, or similar languages • Expert experience in large-scale enterprise IT environments • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Documentation and presentation skills • Previous or current experience with Federal/Government stakeholders, contractors, and solution providers • Familiarity with newer ATO strategies such as Fast Track or Continuous ATO • Willingness to apply for and obtain a U.S. Government security clearance • Able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance is a plus • Ability to remain stationary for long periods of time • Regular communication with people inside and outside the organization • Regular reading and analysis
