📋 Description

• Provide Radiology Techs in the field with information on patient exams • Assist and direct field Radiology Techs so studies are completed in a timely manner • Assign Technologists to appropriate areas and facilities according to the schedule • Page Technologists for STAT, ASAP, and priority homes • Voice-mail Technologists regarding 4-hour and 2-hour STAT turnaround times • Communicate and report problems to the House Supervisor and Field Supervisor • Inform clients about delays in arrival or readings • Assist Technologists with directions, case types, and client information • Cross-train into the Customer Service role • Answer phones within three rings • Assist with overflow client orders • Assign STAT cases within 10 minutes and regular calls within 15 minutes • Persistently dispatch calls to Technologists • Monitor activity in other dispatch areas • Complete assigned duties and special projects • Recommend process efficiencies and streamlining improvements • Check the mailbox daily and maintain a clean workspace

🎯 Requirements

• All candidates must live within 50 miles of the Carrollton, Texas office • High school diploma or GED, or one year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Ability to work independently and with a team • Strong customer service skills • Solid verbal, written, and listening communication skills • Problem-solving and decision-making ability • Good organizational skills • Ability to execute and prioritize multiple tasks • Professional demeanor and appearance • Flexibility and adaptability to change • Ability to build relationships and motivate others • Knowledge of customer service strategies • Solid analytical skills • Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment • Medical Terminology knowledge is a plus but not required • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group situations • Ability to apply common-sense understanding to detailed written or oral instructions • Working knowledge of Windows Explorer and MS Word processing software • Some experience working with computer software • Must be able to work overnight, Thursday–Monday, 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m. EST • Must be able to work overtime as needed • Must be flexible with shift changes based on business need • Must be able to sit regularly, use hands, and talk or hear • Must occasionally stand, walk, and lift or move up to 10 pounds
