📋 Description

• Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies • Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met • Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures for application products • Write, implement, and report status for system test cases • Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports • Provide testing expertise for user requirements of complex software and hardware applications • Participate in risk management assessments and software/hardware development, emphasizing requirements analysis, test design, and test-tool selection • Design, plan, create, execute, and provide SOS test reports • Review government test plans and reports for technical competence, effectiveness, and standards compliance • Observe and evaluate customer acceptance testing • Perform integration activities involving developed application software • Identify and document problems and issues, including root-cause and remediation guidance • Analyze test-event requirements and assist with scheduling SOS non-operational-environment test assets • Support FBI-conducted security certification testing of SOS systems and components • Support formal presentations, reviews, and audits of test results with briefing and decision-support materials • Use FBI-supplied configuration-management tools to accept software code and integrate it into builds for testing, integration, deployment, and operational cut-in • Maintain and control multiple test software and hardware baselines • Improve test coverage, efficiency, repeatability, and automation capabilities • Support system integration, customer acceptance, security certification, and release activities • Collaborate with developers, engineers, government stakeholders, and cross-functional teams • Contribute to process improvement and software quality initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of work experience • Active Tier 3 Secret clearance • Experience working within an Agile Methodology • 6+ years’ experience with test automation • 6+ years’ experience with test scripting • Demonstrated working experience with ReadyAPI, including initial configuration and setup • Demonstrated working experience with Groovy scripting • Experience with Java and JavaScript for basic troubleshooting in development and cloud environments • Experience with, or willingness to rapidly learn, IBM DOORS • Experience with Git/GitHub execution • Excellent written and verbal communications skills • Experience with Red Hat OpenShift • Experience with Elastic, Kabana, and/or Granafa • Basic spreadsheet manipulation, such as Excel • Experience with Atlassian Suite tools including Bitbucket, Confluence, and Jira • Basic understanding of Kubernetes useful • Basic understanding of AWS useful • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Teams • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency requirements associated with clearance verification
