📋 Description

• Use specialized knowledge to support organizational areas related to scheduling expertise • Use data, research analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving to support colleagues and leadership in achieving strategic objectives • Serve as a peer influencer and potentially direct projects or project teams • Schedule complex facility-based ancillary testing across multiple facilities and states • Schedule appointments across facilities with significant protocol variations • Complete pre-registration and electronically verify insurance eligibility • Accurately identify and collect patient financial responsibility • Handle complex scheduled events, including high-dollar testing and associated studies with study-specific instructions • Communicate with service delivery areas to maximize patient flow and customer service • Initiate the overall patient experience and billing process for hospital services

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent • Two (2) to Five (5) years experience in area of expertise such as scheduling, financial clearance, or patient access • Minimum of five plus (5) years of scheduling experience in an acute care setting • National certification in HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA required within one (1) year of hire • Comprehensive knowledge of multiple scheduling systems • Demonstrated proficiency in complex diagnostic testing appointment scheduling processes • Ability to schedule complex facility-based ancillary testing across multiple facilities and states • Ability to schedule for multiple facilities with significant variations in protocols • Proficiency in Patient Registration/Patient Accounting systems and related software systems
