📋 Description

• Design and establish enterprise security architectures, standards, and blueprints across on-premises environments • Assist in evaluating future-state security operations • Integrate security into IT operations through secure operational practices, monitoring, response, and continuous compliance testing • Define and maintain IAM strategies, zero-trust network architectures, data protection schemes, and encryption standards • Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability analysis • Ensure compliance with NIST CSF, HIPAA, and other relevant frameworks, regulations, and standards • Evaluate third-party vendors and external technologies for security risks • Develop security training and awareness programs • Develop a red teaming or penetration testing program • Advise DFG, IT infrastructure, SLT, and Directors on security matters • Participate in GRC council and Change Management board • Develop, document, and enforce security policies, governance controls, and baseline guidelines • Collaborate with the Incident Response team to refine playbooks and assess security posture after major incidents • Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats, zero-day vulnerabilities, and security technologies to upgrade defenses

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or equivalent experience • 5+ years in information security or IT infrastructure • 3+ years specifically managing security solutions (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, IPS, etc.) • Deep understanding of network protocols, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), microservices architectures, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) • Strong knowledge of cryptography, identity federation (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC), and Zero Trust Architecture principles • Familiarity with modern SecOps tools • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical security concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Strong problem-solving abilities and a business-enabling mindset • Proven track record of cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management • Ability to work with extensive computer systems, multiple monitors, and input devices • Adequate vision, hearing, and manual dexterity • Adherence to organizational policies regarding data security, confidentiality, and healthcare regulations
