• Lead strategic sourcing activities for complex initiatives to achieve cost reductions and year-over-year cost and productivity improvements • Manage competitive sourcing processes, high-value contract negotiations, and risk exposure on strategic projects • Maintain supplier and group purchasing organization relationships, negotiate terms, monitor performance, and conduct business reviews • Drive compliance and optimize use of national, custom, and Trinity Health system purchasing agreements • Conduct sourcing, negotiation, spend analysis, demand forecasting, market intelligence, risk evaluation, and cost-benefit analyses • Analyze and validate large datasets and develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations • Lead RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes, sourcing strategy development, analysis, and negotiations • Lead cross-functional strategic sourcing teams and drive standardization, cost reduction, service quality, and process improvements • Develop and communicate sourcing strategies with senior management, Value Analysis, Operations, TIS, and stakeholders • Manage supplier engagement, category strategies, sourcing projects, contract reviews, and implementation handoffs • Partner with Finance to validate forecasted savings and track supplier performance against scorecards • Facilitate resolution of supplier service issues and barriers with business owners, regional management, and Supply Chain staff • Establish comprehensive sourcing procedures for assigned products, services, and IT categories • Perform other duties as required
• Bachelor’s degree with major course work in business, supply chain management, data science, or a clinical discipline; or equivalent combination of education and work experience • At least seven (7) years of sourcing experience • Thorough knowledge of supply chain principles and practices • Demonstrated ability to perform financial analysis • Advanced data analytics and procurement knowledge • Intermediate to advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar applications • Vendor relationship and market trend analysis experience • Understanding of Lean and technical problem-solving concepts and techniques • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Ability to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely • Ability to establish productive relationships with stakeholders and external suppliers • Ability to address conflict and challenge conventional thinking • Ability to understand customer and stakeholder businesses at financial, operational, and business-impact levels • Ability to identify potential issues and formulate viable solutions • Ability to construct and execute complex analyses, including TCO, EVC, and NPV • Ability to translate analysis implications into preliminary recommendations • Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills • Ability to understand supplier bases and relevant market trends • Knowledge of contract law and governing regulations • Ability to work collaboratively with internal legal counsel • Self-starter and independent worker requiring minimal supervision • Ability to manage priorities, changing priorities, and own work • Healthcare industry experience preferred • Highly proficient in data visualization, statistical analysis, and business intelligence tools preferred • Ability to comply with applicable policies, procedures, guidelines, and Code of Conduct • Ability to maintain a safe working environment and use PPE • Ability to provide assistance in an emergency
