📋 Description

• Design and ship end-to-end features across the data model, API, background workers, and UI • Build and improve agent and language-model evaluation workflows using sandboxed trials, scoring, and aggregation of large-scale results • Improve benchmark-task quality checks using verifiers, rubric-based grading, and LLM-as-a-judge evaluation • Integrate new models, agents, and benchmarks through generalizable systems • Maintain performance and reliability through efficient queries, safe migrations, and scalable concurrency • Review pull requests against engineering guidelines and maintain codebase consistency • Deliver multiple changes in the first month and take confident ownership of a system area

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building and operating production backend systems, including ownership of at least one service from design through on-call • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field • Strong Python and experience with Django or a similar framework, PostgreSQL, and a task queue such as Celery • Hands-on experience in LLM evaluation beyond calling a model API • Understanding of benchmark-task construction, agent-trial scoring, and result aggregation and comparison • Judgment about task quality, including ambiguous instructions, weak or gameable verifiers, leaked answers, and invalid checks • Ability to make pragmatic design tradeoffs and explain what was not built • Ownership of end-to-end delivery, including migrations, tests, and edge cases • Ability to quickly adopt team conventions for naming, structure, tests, and error handling • Comfort with TypeScript and React frontend work • Clear technical writing in pull request descriptions and design notes • Experience with Harbor, Terminal-Bench, SWE-bench, Inspect, or similar harness is a plus • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Modal, or Daytona is a plus • Experience with LLM-as-a-judge, rubric-based grading, and reducing judge bias and noise is a plus • Familiarity with Claude Code, Codex, OpenHands, and MCP is a plus • Experience with distributed job scheduling, concurrency limits, or database locking at scale is a plus • Open-source evaluation or infrastructure contributions are a plus
