Turnkey targets developers and enterprises building embedded wallets, DeFi/trading apps, payment flows, and other blockchain-native consumer applications that need low-latency, multichain signing, policy-based access controls, and high-availability infrastructure.

📋 Description

• Join a small platform team working with nearly every engineering team at Turnkey • Build tooling for performance analysis and observability so teams can make data-driven decisions • Partner with product, infrastructure, and security teams to gather requirements, translate technical tradeoffs, and develop shared solutions • Identify systemic issues across infrastructure and product and drive them to resolution • Anticipate scaling bottlenecks and scale systems before they become incidents • Introduce better tooling and practices around measurement, SLOs, and data-driven decisions • Raise the technical bar through design reviews, documentation, and mentorship

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, infrastructure, or SRE, with substantial distributed systems experience • Experience designing, building, scaling, and operating robust, reliable distributed systems in production • Working experience with Golang, AWS, Postgres, and Kubernetes • Experience building tooling for performance and observability, including metrics, tracing, profiling, logging, alerting, or similar • Data-driven approach: define metrics, instrument systems, and explain how a system or team moved from X to Y • Record of leveling up teams beyond your own through tooling, practices, or decision-making habits • Clear communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to understand how other teams work and what they need • Infrastructure-as-code experience, such as Terraform or similar • Experience in security-sensitive or high-assurance environments, including TEEs, secure enclaves, key management, or regulated infrastructure • Fluency in Go • Experience with incident management and post-incident learning programs • Open source contributions or public technical writing
