📋 Description

• Develop case strategy and compelling case themes • Independently manage matters and full case handling responsibilities • Oversee discovery and handle substantive motion practice • Take and defend depositions • Independently handle court appearances, briefs, and trials • Evaluate exposure and prepare cases for mediation and trial • Communicate routinely and directly with clients • Cultivate relationships with existing and future clients • Work collaboratively with attorneys across teams and matters • Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys • Develop courtroom and trial skills alongside experienced trial lawyers

🎯 Requirements

• Active California Bar license required • JD from an ABA approved school • 8+ years of solid litigation experience, specifically with litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation • 5+ years of litigation experience handling Lemon Law defense matters • 2+ years of CRLA, tenant advocacy, or housing litigation experience • 2+ years of General Liability defense experience • Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including all facets of discovery and trial • Experience handling insurance defense matters preferred • Experience with time management systems • Proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Ability to think and act independently with minimal supervision • Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills • Professional appearance and demeanor
