📋 Description

• Develop and maintain a high-quality and profitable external network of correspondent originators for loan purchases in an assigned area • Service correspondent lender accounts through introducing and training on new loan programs • Coordinate underwriting, commitments, closings, and funding of loans submitted for purchase • Gather market-specific information • Attend correspondent functions and trade shows • Develop and enforce quality control measures • Ensure loan origination sources meet division requirements and procedures • Solicit sales and conduct sales-related activities away from U.S. Bancorp locations

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • Three to five years of experience in mortgage sales • Three or more years of lending experience • Ability to travel • Extensive knowledge of business development techniques, sales development and planning • Demonstrated ability to sell service-based products and create awareness, interest, and demand to meet production goals • Working knowledge of whole loan purchase requirements and procedures, from correspondent seller approval through underwriting, funding, and loan delivery • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and workplace conduct and safety policies
