📋 Description

• Design and create Facilitator Guides, Participant Workbooks, Job Aids, Exercises, Coaching Guides, blended learning solutions, and e-learning modules • Design and create knowledge resources for front-line staff • Assess, evaluate, and develop existing and new training programs and materials for internal and external use • Facilitate classroom and virtual training from onboarding through continued development and refresher training • Provide subject matter expertise and consultation on training development and facilitation • Lead learning design and development offerings across the business unit and client programs • Onboard employees and contingent workers • Develop and deliver standardized system and process training • Travel to other UBC sites and client-hosted locations as needed • Evaluate training impact with program participants and management • Review quality and performance records to identify retraining needs • Respond to training requests from leadership, program managers, and quality teams • Maintain and update training programs and materials for system and process changes • Author and deliver customized training, simulation scenarios, and practical exercises • Document and maintain training records and documentation • Research, author, publish, and maintain process documents using knowledge-management and authoring tools • Collaborate with departments, business owners, and subject matter experts to document procedures and translate business needs into user instructions • Lead documentation-flow and storage improvements and training-related SOP revisions • Manage or participate in projects supporting Operations Learning goals • Collaborate and cross-train with Learning and Quality teams • Conduct needs assessments and build partnerships with internal clients • Design, develop, and support strategic initiatives and enhancements from a learning perspective • Collaborate with internal clients and IT on system builds, UAT testing, and interactive learning solutions • Maintain awareness of developments in training and instructional design and recommend curriculum modifications • Solve complex problems and provide solutions to difficult technical issues • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of critical tools and learning requirements • Participate in in-person and virtual internal and external meetings and events

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, training or related field or equivalent work experience • 5 to 8 years relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 3-5 years’ experience in training • Certification in facilitation, instructional design, adult learning, or PMP preferred • Ability to motivate employees and provide thought leadership • Ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage heavy workload • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task • Strong focus on Patient & Client Satisfaction • Expert prioritization skills and ability to handle multiple projects • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and verbal and written communication skills • Expert proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft package, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Proven ability to develop training courses and supporting documentation • Experience conducting needs analysis and operations application functionality • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and techniques • Excellent internal and external customer service skills • Proven ability to identify customized strategies and tactics for success in training delivery • Experience with e-learning authoring tools, HTML, and knowledge management tools • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical thinking skills • Ability to travel as needed • Relevant systems and tools experience including ADDIE, SAM, Storyline, Articulate, Captivate, Photoshop, video production, SharePoint/Web Development, PowerPoint, WebEx, Visio, technical writing, HTML/CSS, eQMS, SumTotal, Survey Monkey, and Excel pivot tables and charts
