📋 Description

• Designs, configures, tests and implements changes to assigned Epic system applications • Leads operational work groups and teams to gather and analyze requirements • Consults with Epic representatives, leadership and subject matter experts to configure and build Epic software and applications • Manages projects from scoping and design through implementation and transition to operations • Solves complex problems and supports application upgrades • Develops and documents workflows and supports end-user adoption • Leads needs assessment, software design, implementation and support • Collaborates with reporting teams and operational partners to gather requirements • Facilitates workflow design with subject matter experts to improve efficiency and solve complex workflow issues • Mentors analysts in workflow design and analysis • Leads functional and integrated testing and develops and validates testing scripts • Defines and develops user access security • Oversees, reviews and moves build to production • Evaluates new technology implementations and participates in operational meetings • Troubleshoots interfaces and application issues through resolution • Leads issue escalation and application upgrade troubleshooting • Provides scheduled 24 x 7 on-call support • Maintains application security and follows change control processes • Mentors, trains and onboards team members • Develops policies, procedures and system documentation • Contributes to end-user training materials and training efforts • Performs other duties as assigned • Complies with policies and standards and protects patient PHI

🎯 Requirements

• High School Equivalent / GED (Required) • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems/Business/Healthcare Related Field (Preferred) • 4+ years in designing, configuring, testing and maintaining Epic applications (Required) • 2+ years working in a health care related IT environment (Preferred) • Detail-oriented and organized, with good analytical and problem solving ability • Client service, communication, presentation and relationship building skills • Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Knowledge of MS Office, MS Visio and MS Project • Knowledge of ITIL standards (Preferred) • Knowledge of SQL databases (Preferred) • Knowledge of disaster recovery and backup procedures (Preferred) • Knowledge and experience with HL7 Interfaces • Knowledge and experience with SQL based applications (Preferred) • Epic Application Certification (Required) • Epic Grand Central Certification (Strongly Preferred) • Must abide by requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) • Travel requirement: 10%
