📋 Description

• Design, configure, test and implement changes to assigned Epic system applications • Lead operational work groups and teams to gather and analyze requirements • Consult with Epic representatives, leadership and subject matter experts on Epic software and application configuration • Manage projects and resolve complex problems • Develop and document workflows aligned with systems and support the implementation lifecycle, including end-user adoption • Lead needs assessment, software design, implementation and support • Facilitate workflow design to improve efficiency, solve complex workflow issues and incorporate quality initiatives • Mentor analysts on workflow design and analysis • Lead functional and integrated software testing, including development and validation of testing scripts • Define and develop user access security • Oversee, review and move build to production • Evaluate new technology and support operational meetings with IT expertise • Perform unit testing and maintain integrated testing scripts • Lead projects from scoping and design through implementation and transition to operations • Develop change-management strategies and plans for implementations • Support and troubleshoot inbound/outbound interface transaction errors and application issues • Lead issue escalation and application upgrade tasks • Maintain security and follow change-control processes • Mentor, onboard and train team members • Develop policies and procedures and maintain accurate system documentation • Contribute to end-user training materials and training efforts • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School Equivalent / GED (Required) • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems/Business/Healthcare Related Field (Preferred) • 4+ years in designing, configuring, testing and maintaining Epic applications (Required) • 2+ years working in a health care related IT environment (Preferred) • Detail-oriented and organized, with good analytical and problem solving ability • Client service, communication, presentation and relationship building skills • Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Knowledge of MS Office, MS Visio and MS Project • Knowledge of ITIL standards (Preferred) • Knowledge of SQL databases (Preferred) • Knowledge of disaster recovery and backup procedures (Preferred) • Knowledge and experience with HL7 Interfaces • Knowledge and experience with SQL-based applications (Preferred) • Epic Application Certification (Required) • Epic Hospital Billing certification (Strongly Preferred) • Ability to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) • Ability to travel 10%
