• Manage inbound and outbound patient interactions to support scheduling and coordination of diagnostic imaging and specialty services • Schedule, reschedule, cancel, and confirm patient appointments across imaging, laboratory, nuclear medicine, pulmonary, vascular, surgery, labor and delivery, physician scheduling, and main call support • Respond to patient inquiries about imaging services, availability, preparation instructions, insurance verification, and general service information • Document patient interactions, appointment details, and updates in scheduling systems and CRM platforms • Review patient orders, referrals, and provider instructions to schedule appointments according to protocols • Navigate multiple scheduling, CRM, and communication systems simultaneously • Communicate with patients, providers, and internal teams to coordinate care and resolve scheduling needs • Follow workflows, call flows, knowledge resources, HIPAA regulations, and privacy and security standards • Identify patient needs and resolve concerns while meeting service expectations • Maintain productivity, quality, attendance, and schedule-adherence standards in a high-volume contact center • Participate in modality-based training, coaching sessions, and performance improvement activities • Perform other assigned duties
• High school diploma or GED required • Minimum of six months of experience in a healthcare contact center, patient access, or customer service environment preferred, with required hands-on experience scheduling medical appointments within a healthcare organization • Work-from-home experience in a private, secure, distraction-free environment compliant with HIPAA and company data privacy standards • Strong verbal communication, empathy, professionalism, and telephone etiquette • Understanding and consistent adherence to contact center performance metrics and Remote Work Agreement expectations • Ability to adhere to assigned schedules, maintain reliability, punctuality, and attendance • Flexibility to adjust shifts, swap coverage, and work overtime based on business needs • Ability to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required • Ability to manage multiple systems and tasks simultaneously • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and workflows • Problem-solving and customer inquiry research skills • Basic computer proficiency with Windows-based systems, Outlook, Teams, CRM, and scheduling platforms • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute • Must complete assessments independently if required • Ability to comply with HIPAA, privacy, and security standards
