📋 Description

• Serve as the medical lead for LC-FAOD, MPS VII and MPS IIIA, accountable for regional pull-through of the global medical strategy and timely execution of US tactical plans aligned to brand strategy and lifecycle priorities • Serve as the UX111 US medical launch team, developing and leading execution of a robust medical launch plan in partnership with Field Medical and Gene Therapy Treatment Teams • Define and deliver strategic goals demonstrating measurable impact on medical affairs and business outcomes • Lead or implement US data generation activities aligned to the integrated evidence plan and US medical needs, including evidence dissemination • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and integrate insights into strategic planning • Lead collaborations on advisory boards, QTC connect meetings and payer education • Provide disease-area and product expertise and ensure accurate, consistent communication of clinical and scientific data • Lead US conference strategy, including scientific education symposia and educational events for healthcare professionals • Collaborate with the US field medical team from strategic insights generation through action • Develop scientific resources such as slide decks, FAQs and educational materials for US field teams • Represent US Medical and contribute to the Global Medical Strategy Team, ensuring US insights inform global strategy • Provide medical and scientific expertise for promotional and non-promotional materials and medical affairs review committees, ensuring scientific accuracy, strategic alignment, suitability and US regulatory compliance • Collaborate with Global Medical and cross-functional partners including commercialization, patient advocacy, clinical development, HEOR, diagnostics, scientific communications, publications and regulatory teams

🎯 Requirements

• MD with specialty training in metabolic genetics and rare disease expertise, or PhD with substantial relevant experience in LC-FAOD and MPSs • At least five years’ experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, including US medical affairs • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute medical launch strategies in the US market is highly preferred • Proven leadership skills and ability to navigate ambiguous situations and collaborate cross-functionally on complex initiatives • High aptitude for attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work • Proven ability to take initiative and drive successful execution of complex projects • Highly analytical and strategic thinking, including identifying interdependencies and understanding broader program and organizational goals • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for scientific and strategic concepts • Proactive, highly organized and able to manage shifting priorities in a rapidly changing environment • Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% of the time
