📋 Description

• Teach Mastering the AWS Cloud (CMIT 426) remotely for the Cloud Computing & Telecommunications program • Teach computing, networking, storage, and database services in Amazon Web Services • Help students apply best practices for building secure and reliable AWS cloud applications • Help students identify appropriate AWS services for organizational technical requirements • Actively engage students through frequent interaction • Guide students in collaborative, problem- and project-based learning demonstrations • Provide regular constructive feedback and assess student work using rubrics • Demonstrate current subject-matter expertise and connect concepts across the academic program • Provide feedback to the program chair on possible curricular improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning • Professional experience in Computer Networking and Security • Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is strongly preferred • Resume/Curriculum Vitae • Cover letter is highly preferred • Candidates with international degrees may be required to submit translation/degree evaluations from NACES-approved vendors • Ability to complete the online two-week new faculty orientation, FacDev 411, as a condition of hire
