📋 Description

• Provide ongoing systems administration support for Linux environments across multiple locations • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, applications, and connectivity components • Provide technical support and advise on programming tools, database systems, and networks • Remediate daily incident tickets and ensure system compliance • Enhance system runs, testing, staging, and policies/procedures • Coordinate client contact and provide operational recommendations addressing Linux system availability and reliability • Play a lead role in shaping Linux systems strategy across the company • Allocate work assignments, ensure workload balance, and provide technical and procedural guidance to less experienced team members • Align systems design and strategy with corporate business requirements and objectives • Initiate and implement automation and process intelligence tools supporting data-driven decisions, efficiency, and AI integration • Apply business and user-community knowledge to systems design, development, and support • Translate long-term business requirements into systems and infrastructure design • Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of systems administration infrastructure, including operating systems, virtualization platforms, cloud infrastructure, directory and identity services, monitoring and management, middleware, and applications • Provide infrastructure leadership for hardware and software systems support • Advise and consult company-wide on unique, complex, or business-critical issues

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and U.S. residency required • BA/BS degree and 8+ years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience • Master's degree preferred • Expert-level expertise in Linux systems administration and enterprise infrastructure design • Proven ability to lead technical teams and advise across the organization on complex, business-critical issues • Experience with Red Hat Linux, including KVM and clustering • Experience with AIX • Familiarity with Unix • Familiarity with VMware • Required knowledge of disaster recovery (DR) and high-availability (HA) principles, including in cloud environments—Oracle OCI and Microsoft Azure • Eligibility for any required U.S. Government authorizations for access to export-controlled commodities and technology
