📋 Description

• Review clinical trial contracts at the department level and route them to Research and Sponsored Programs for legal review • Participate in billing compliance review processes • Draft clinical trial budgets according to UW, SMPH, and Cancer Center policies and applicable regulations • Negotiate budgets with clinical trial sponsors and contract research organizations • Configure budgets in the OnCore Clinical Trials Management System for the post-award team • Process contract and budget amendments when trials change • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including disease-oriented teams, research pharmacy, RSP, the SMPH Dean’s office, sponsors, and CROs • Work with campus partners to establish new accounts in the financial accounting system • Prepare and route proposals, award documents, and sponsored project agreements according to policies and deadlines • Maintain accurate financial data in departmental financial systems and databases • Review proposal budgets for allowability and accuracy under sponsor and campus guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• One or more years of experience in research administration, finance, and/or clinical trials • Experience may include protocol management, study participant management, billing compliance, financial management, regulatory management, or QA/Compliance • Experience developing, negotiating, and revising clinical trial budgets preferred • Experience with industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated trials preferred • Experience managing a portfolio of projects preferred • Experience with a Clinical Trials Management System such as OnCore preferred • Experience with oncology clinical trials preferred • Cover letter required • Resume required • Must maintain continuous eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship • University sponsorship is not available, including transfers of sponsorship and TN visas • Employment may require a criminal background check • References may be requested from final candidates
