📋 Description

• Run daily client meetings to collect financial data and define scope • Set up and configure Uplinq and QuickBooks Online accounts • Resolve Plaid, payroll, revenue processor, inventory system, integration, and access issues • Verify signed proposals against client needs and flag scope or pricing mismatches • Manage a high volume of concurrent onboarding timelines and deliverables • Proactively escalate workload or account risks to the manager • Follow up with clients to obtain missing documents • Troubleshoot setup and data problems using accounting judgment • Handle complex accounting issues and messy books • Find practical workarounds when onboarding stalls • Review junior Onboarding Specialists' work and provide actionable feedback • Coach junior specialists and prevent problems from becoming client-facing • Delegate onboarding tasks while remaining accountable for results • Identify clients who need additional services and recommend suitable Uplinq services • Collaborate with Sales, Initialization, Accounting, and Tax to close handoff gaps • Own onboarding through completion and hand accounts off cleanly

🎯 Requirements

• Individual applicants must reside in the United States • 6+ years in a client-facing accounting or onboarding role • Experience at Senior Associate level or above in a public or multi-client accounting firm • 6+ years using QuickBooks Online daily, including setup, integrations, and troubleshooting • QuickBooks Online experience required; desktop-only experience is insufficient • Deep technical accounting knowledge • Strong working knowledge of cash and accrual accounting • Experience reviewing or overseeing other accountants' work • Experience managing 25+ active client relationships simultaneously • Ability to escalate risks early and adjust when plans stop working • Ability to build rapport quickly and calm anxious business owners • Ability to explain information clearly to clients • Comfort telling clients when signed scope does not cover their needs • Willingness to acknowledge mistakes and adjust working methods • Ability to identify when clients need additional services and raise the matter with them • Formal sales experience is optional
