📋 Description

• Create video content supporting knowledge and skill development for The UPS Store franchise network • Apply instructional design methods to design and deliver effective video instruction • Collaborate with subject matter experts, managers, vendors, clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams • Upload new training elements into the learning management system for the franchise network • Manage and coordinate video-content and training-resource projects • Coordinate video course planning, brainstorming, media development, and scriptwriting • Plan and execute video shoots, including location scouting and directing • Capture high-quality video and audio footage; operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment • Oversee casting and management of principal talent, background performers, and voice actors • Edit video and audio footage; add graphics, closed captioning, and special effects • Manage video libraries and assist with distribution strategies across platforms • Develop creative concepts, storyboards, and scripts • Assess training effectiveness and make data-driven improvements • Convert existing instructional materials into microlearning video formats • Gather training-needs data and collect content for training materials • Review training procedures and guidelines to ensure materials meet learning goals • Identify innovations in online video learning and recommend project improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must reside within the San Diego territory due to project requirements • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Proficiency with video cameras, lighting, audio recording, and video editing software • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator • Strong storytelling abilities and visual design sense • Understanding of adult learning theory and course design • Ability to identify learning gaps, implementation gaps, and appropriate learning measurements • Understanding of project plans, implementation objectives, risks, and timely project updates • Ability to maintain and properly use video equipment • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or internationally comparable degree in Video Production, Visual Communications, Journalism, Media Production, Digital Media, or related discipline • Preferred: Experience developing corporate training video content and/or materials • Preferred: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in video production and editing
