📋 Description

• Troubleshoot and communicate documentation discrepancy issues with customers and foreign origins • Audit commercial documents and apply harmonized tariff schedule codes for accurate duty assessments • Ensure all federal requirements are met • Handle general customs brokerage, office, and data entry tasks • Prepare customs entries and forward freight to designated locations • Interface with international and domestic carriers, overseas offices, and importers • Follow up on the clearance process for prepared entries • Communicate documentation discrepancies to clients and supervisors • Coordinate freight delivery to designated locations • Resolve finance and accounting reconciliation exchange issues • File entries to customs via GBS-CM accurately and on time • Scan entries into the imaging system within allotted and sensitive time requirements • Prepare reports and presentations and perform analysis using software packages and databases • Establish and maintain client relationships

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or International equivalent • Basic knowledge of customs operations, laws and regulations, and other government departments • Basic computer skills • Basic understanding of HS system • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer • Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM local time • Position may require weekend rotation and holiday work based on operational and account needs
