📋 Description

• Monitor changes in state and federal regulations related to chattel loan origination and servicing • Assess the impact of regulatory changes on company policies and procedures • Coordinate compliance-related projects and ensure timely execution • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement compliance initiatives • Research regulatory developments, industry trends, and best practices • Analyze policies and procedures to identify gaps and recommend enhancements • Draft, revise, and maintain compliance policies and procedures • Assist with regulatory examinations and audits • Compile and organize documentation, reports, and data requested by regulators • Assist with company and employee license applications and ongoing maintenance • Prepare and submit NMLC Mortgage Call Reports and other required reporting

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • 3+ years of experience in mortgage lending and/or servicing compliance or risk management • Experience in the manufactured home/chattel lending space preferred • Knowledge of regulations governing mortgage lending and servicing • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to clearly convey complex regulatory requirements to team members and stakeholders • Compliance-related certifications are a plus but not required • Must reside in Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Wisconsin • Must be eligible for employment verification through E-Verify
