📋 Description

• Manage and prioritize multiple technical searches across Software Engineering and adjacent technical functions • Partner with Engineering leadership to align on hiring needs, process improvements, and search strategy • Proactively source diverse and qualified talent through outbound strategies, networks, and technical communities • Represent Upstart's brand in the market by delivering exceptional candidate experiences • Use data to assess pipeline health, drive hiring decisions, and optimize recruitment strategies

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong focus on hiring software engineers or technical talent • Proven success in filling a mix of high-volume roles and specialized technical positions • Experience with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem) • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with technical stakeholders • Ability to ramp quickly and operate independently in a contract capacity with minimal onboarding time • Experience recruiting for a range of technical roles (e.g., front-end, back-end, infrastructure, data, security) • Demonstrated ability to build and iterate on hiring processes and strategies in fast-paced environments • Proficiency in data-driven recruiting, including pipeline reporting and conversion rate analysis • Passion for improving representation and building inclusive hiring practices within technical teams • Prior experience in contract, interim, or fractional recruiting engagements
