• Serve as a training solution partner to the organization • Work independently with the Learning Development Consultant and Talent Management team to define needs and design training solutions • Manage multiple instructional design projects and training programs concurrently using project management skills • Design effective, time-frugal training materials, including online/e-learning modules, microlearning courses, instructor-led training, job aids, online tutorials, and multimedia content • Develop training for onboarding, performance management, professional and leadership development, team engagements, and talent development programs • Own Learning Management System administrative maintenance and reporting using Workday Learning & Performance modules • Support Talent team communications and maintenance of design initiatives and programs • Maintain established programs, increase participation, and update content and delivery options • Build partnerships with Talent Management team members and drive program success • Write and edit technical and procedural documents, including training aids, quick reference guides, participant guides, and facilitator manuals • Create and support learning reports • Support change efforts required to launch new and revised training experiences and culture initiatives
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required • 5+ years of work experience as an Instructional Designer required • Healthcare experience preferred • Extensive knowledge of best practices for creating and designing instructional materials for adult education and/or corporate training • Knowledge and application of technology for learning, including multimedia development, web conferencing, learning management systems, social networking, and online collaborative tools • Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills with diverse personality types and all management levels • Ability to consult professionally and influentially with senior stakeholders, HR, and People Leaders • Ability to manage multiple complex leadership design projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail • Ability to determine learning needs and distill complex concepts into simple design solutions • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Project, Excel, Articulate, Storyline, and microlearning platforms • Proactive, creative, and efficient problem-solving ability • Flexible, decisive, trusted, and responsible approach to delivering commitments and goals • Excellent written and oral communication, including technical writing skills • Experience publishing and revising content in Workday or other LMS platforms • Work authorization/location: US-Remote
