• Enable consistent execution of EHS risk-reduction efforts across assigned SC markets and Specialty locations • Deploy center-developed EHS tools and methodologies to field operations • Align local leadership to annual EHS tactics supporting the overall EHS strategy • Build local-level EHS capabilities for risk assessment and control • Provide proactive technical and regulatory EHS guidance and troubleshoot issues • Deliver EHS program audits and facilitate site-based self-assessments • Coach and educate site resources in classroom and on-the-floor settings • Onboard new leaders on EHS responsibilities and related systems • Track and support site-level EHS actions, including incident management, DriveCam events, training, and compliance follow-up • Lead assigned EHS incident investigations and investigate Ethics Line concerns as requested • Support OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulatory interactions • Support company-wide EHS initiatives • Reinforce ethical standards, employee advocacy, and the “We Care” mindset
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Science, EHS field; demonstrated equivalent experience may be considered • Professional certification (CSP, CIH, PE) or ability to become certified is a plus • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in manufacturing, foodservice, and/or distribution industries • Experience supporting Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Transportation Safety, and/or Environmental Management • Multi-site responsibility and experience with union environments desirable • Knowledge of EHS federal and state laws and regulations, including OSHA, DOT, and EPA • Knowledge of industry benchmarking metrics • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Ability to travel up to 75% • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure • Strong written and oral communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, facilitation, organizational, project management, analytical, and stakeholder-influence skills
