📋 Description

• Manage all revenue cycle activities within the Educational Health Center of Wyoming • Supervise assigned staff and promote revenue cycle best practices • Implement and maintain revenue cycle policies and procedures • Participate in implementation of new clinics and revenue cycle projects • Oversee office visits and patient accounts • Resolve issues causing Additional Documentation Requests, denials, billing delays, or reimbursement delays • Ensure clinic compliance with revenue cycle policies and procedures • Lead process and procedural improvements supporting financial results and operational efficiency • Manage, train, and monitor Medical Billing department staff • Oversee Accounts Receivable follow-up, collections, insurance communications, payment analysis, billing worksheets, invoice creation, and write-offs • Monitor unbilled Accounts Receivable and clinic aging reports • Develop procedures to track trends, minimize disruptions, improve workflows, and increase collections • Visit clinics and maintain relationships with clinic stakeholders • Observe center activities and participate in education, training, physician panel, and hospital partner meetings • Perform assigned miscellaneous duties and participate in goal setting, training, and professional development

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • 5 years of work-related professional experience • At least 1 year of supervisory experience • Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) • Applicants must provide average hours worked per week for current and previous positions • Experience with billing in a Federal Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or Rural Health Clinic (RHC) preferred • Experience interpreting Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) preferred • Ability to accurately code medical records for evaluation and management services, ancillary services, and diagnoses for insurance purposes • Experience with medical coding and modifiers preferred • Proficiency with computerized billing systems in EMR and Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Teams • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing • Cover letter, resume or C.V., and contact information for four work-related references required • Must be eligible to work in the United States; H-1B or work visa sponsorship is unavailable
