Valence positions itself at the intersection of AI, workforce/HR transformation, and practical adoption guidance for enterprises.

📋 Description

• Own and architect our entire AWS infrastructure, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions • Design and implement scalable infrastructure platforms that enable seamless deployments across multiple teams • Lead security infrastructure initiatives, including implementing SIEM, EDR, automated scanning tools, and backup systems • Manage and optimize infrastructure costs while ensuring high availability and performance • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible, with opportunity to improve existing implementations • Create and optimize autoscaling solutions for various workloads, including webinar demands and ML/data processing pipelines • Establish network architecture and security protocols, including firewall configurations and routing • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple application teams • Collaborate with AI team to design and implement infrastructure for data processing and ML pipelines • Take proactive ownership in identifying infrastructure improvements and implementing solutions

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of DevOps experience, preferably in scaling B2B SaaS companies • Proven experience building and maintaining infrastructure platforms that support multiple development teams • Strong expertise in AWS services and infrastructure management • Advanced knowledge of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code • Experience with Ansible is a plus • Proficiency in network management, including firewalls, routing, and security protocols • Strong coding abilities in Python, Shell/Bash scripting, with other coding experience a plus (Go, PHP, Ruby) • Experience with enterprise security processes and procurement, ideally running elements or all of the infosec function serving F500 enterprises • Background in implementing and managing security infrastructure (SIEM, EDR, XDR) • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive ownership mindset • Ability to work effectively with multiple teams and handle diverse infrastructure needs
