📋 Description

• Develop and execute strategic plans by district, customer, product, and geographical area, including sales and shipping profit plans • Develop and execute market-share growth plans by customer, product, and geographical area • Develop and execute plans to drive specifications within the district in collaboration with the Regional Specification Manager • Develop and execute plans to service all distribution customers in the district while working with the customer service representative • Drive new product introductions through customer presentations, sales calls, and promotional activities • Build relationships and coordinate sales activity across the territory • Maximize company revenue, market share, and profitability • Update and maintain customer correspondence in Salesforce.com, including weekly reports, opportunity sales funnel, and planned customer meetings • Report to the Regional Sales Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent work experience required • 5 years of professional selling experience • Experience with customers, channel partners, architects, and designers • Preference with channel partner, demand creation, and/or building products industry experience • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with co-workers, customers, supervisors, and technical organizations • Ability to work independently • Ability to plan, schedule, and organize work priorities and objectives with minimal onsite supervision • Willingness and ability to travel overnight up to 50% • Ability to work from a home office environment with periodic travel to company facilities, customer locations, training events, or meetings
