📋 Description

• Lead the agentic direction for Governance & Compliance • Build on shipped agents, define future capabilities, and shape collaboration between people and agents • Own design quality across the Governance & Compliance pillar • Set design standards and drive consistency from concept through launch • Lead decisions around scoping, segmentation, organizational units, permissions, and multi-entity audits • Incorporate AI into team workflows through Vanta’s design harness • Help designers prototype and ship faster while maintaining craft quality • Develop design leaders and senior individual contributors • Build a high-trust team and hire as the pillar grows • Partner with product and engineering leadership as a peer to co-own outcomes and quality • Report to the Head of Design • Lead a team of senior, staff, and principal designers, with senior managers and directors reporting to the role

🎯 Requirements

• Experience shipping agentic or AI-forward products, with a point of view on designing for non-deterministic outputs • Hands-on use of AI in the design process, including prototyping, building in a harness, or coding • Deep enterprise B2B SaaS experience • Understanding of custom configurations, multi-org workflows, and large deployments • Systems thinking, including designing object models and patterns across many surfaces • Comfort working deeply with engineers in a technical, domain-heavy space such as GRC • Experience leading teams of 12 or more, including design directors, design managers, and staff ICs • Portfolio showing simplified complex products and shipped AI-forward experiences; required for interview • Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship • Responsibility for protecting Vanta and customer data • Use of AI in day-to-day work, with experimentation, fluency-building, and sound judgment to maintain quality • Required portfolio, LinkedIn profile, resume, and application responses
