📋 Description

• Embed within IT & Security teams and build trusted relationships with leaders, architects, engineers, and service desk management • Conduct structured discovery sessions across IT service management, cybersecurity operations, infrastructure monitoring, identity and access management, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management • Translate IT and security challenges into preliminary AI use cases • Assess feasibility using SIEM data, ITSM records, infrastructure telemetry, and threat intelligence feeds • Validate opportunities based on business value, detection and response times, incident reduction, service desk efficiency, infrastructure availability, and security posture • Develop intake documentation covering technology context, data sources, integrations, security classification, and success criteria • Apply cybersecurity frameworks, IT service management practices, and critical-infrastructure security requirements • Champion responsible AI principles, security controls, human oversight, and avoidance of new attack surfaces • Build an IT & Security champion network to validate AI concepts • Monitor emerging AI capabilities for cybersecurity and IT operations • Conduct listening tours and facilitate AI capability workshops • Document opportunity assessments, risks, compliance considerations, and resource implications • Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams and establish security and service KPIs • Identify cross-functional synergies in data center operational technology • Improve discovery methodology and build AI literacy among technology teams • Support change management and track discovery pipeline health

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5–7 years of overall work experience • 3+ years in IT operations, cybersecurity, or technology infrastructure management • Preferably experience within critical infrastructure or data center environments • Strong foundation in ITIL, cybersecurity operations, infrastructure monitoring, and enterprise technology stacks • Practical understanding of AI capabilities including machine learning for threat detection, NLP for ticket classification, predictive analytics, and automated response orchestration • Familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, ServiceNow, and infrastructure monitoring platforms • Understanding of SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and critical-infrastructure security standards • Ability to translate technology and security challenges into structured opportunity assessments • Experience conducting discovery in security-sensitive environments with data classification, access controls, and confidentiality requirements • Ability to build credibility with strategic IT leaders and security practitioners • Track record of measurable improvements in security posture, operational efficiency, or service quality • Judgment balancing AI innovation with security risk management • Excellent listening skills, curiosity, and discretion regarding sensitive security information • Travel required: 15–25% for stakeholder engagement
