📋 Description

• Manage external audits from initial request through client reporting • Evaluate audit scope letters, audit tools, samples, and requested items • Clarify audit requests with Client Management and clients • Coordinate responses from operational areas and ensure documentation is complete and responsive • Track response timelines and escalate overdue responses • Prepare materials for submission to external auditors • Obtain, review, and prepare audit responses for draft and final reports • Document observations and root causes and recommend corrective actions • Communicate audit results and support company responses to issued reports • Manage corrective actions arising from audits, compliance monitoring, and other compliance issues • Partner with business stakeholders on corrective action responses, documentation, remediation timelines, and closure • Provide audit and corrective action plan reports to Compliance management • Prepare departmental reporting for internal and external customers • Interface with clients as needed • Conduct or participate in special projects, programs, and requests as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, healthcare administration, finance, accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum of three (3) years of related experience in quality, compliance, or audit • Knowledge of and experience in the insurance, health, or vision care industry preferred • Knowledge of and experience with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) preferred • Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and computer skills • Ability to organize large amounts of data and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Ability to meet established deadlines and shift priorities when necessary • Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders, clients, and regulatory auditors • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team • Ability and willingness to travel as required • Must comply with HIPAA requirements and company data security guidelines
