Visana Health is a virtual women's health clinic that delivers telemedicine-first care for people across life stages. The company offers virtual consultations with clinicians, care teams (doctors, clinicians, coaches, and advocates), individualized care plans, medication and supplement management, lab ordering and coordination of in-person services when needed, and ongoing lifestyle coaching. Visana focuses on menopause and perimenopause, gynecological, sexual and reproductive health (including endometriosis, fibroids, painful periods, UTIs), hormone and metabolic conditions (PMOS/PCOS, thyroid, postpartum care), and preventive/well-woman services. 📋 Description

• Provide one-on-one virtual health coaching to women with health concerns including hormonal health, menopause, PMOS, pelvic pain, and cardiometabolic health • Partner with 25 to 30 patients weekly to develop personalized health and wellness goals • Support behavior change related to sleep, stress management, nutrition, movement, and self-advocacy • Create patient-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive coaching experiences • Respond to patient questions and concerns in a timely, compassionate, and professional manner • Collaborate with 100 clinicians and other care team members to align coaching with clinical recommendations and care plans • Share patient updates, progress, and concerns with providers through documentation and communication channels • Use messaging, telehealth platforms, and tracking tools to monitor progress and encourage engagement • Follow coaching programs, protocols, care pathways, and documentation guidelines • Document patient encounters, goals, and progress accurately and promptly • Participate in coaching meetings, training, and feedback sessions • Contribute ideas to improve coaching materials, workflows, and programs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as healthcare, wellness, psychology, nutrition, or public health • NBHWC certification, or eligibility for certification/in-progress certification with experience in health coaching or a related role • Ideally two to three or more years of experience in health coaching or a related role • Strong understanding of women’s health issues • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to use motivational interviewing techniques • Comfortable using digital health platforms, telehealth tools, and messaging-based support such as Healthie, Athena, Google Suite, and Slack • Ability to approach patients with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and respect for individual goals and experiences • Preferred: master’s degree in a related field • Preferred: experience supporting patients with complex or ongoing health concerns in a virtual or multidisciplinary care setting
