• Identify potential new customers within the defined OEM market segment and region, qualify and develop them to achieve new business sales in line with company strategy • Proactively engage existing customers in defined OEM market segments and region to maximize sales and organic sales growth • Serve as the face of the company and lead new development projects through proactive contact with prospects/customers and VPG R&D, Engineering, QA, and other parties • Manage development projects from conception to completion • Negotiate contracts and meet with purchasing, procurement, and other key decision-makers to establish firm and profitable customer relationships • Analyze and report key sales and project management data and forecast future expectations for the region
• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics) • 10+ years of experience in sales and business development of Industrial Automation products/Sensors (weighing, force) to OEMs • Significant experience in sales of technical products • Strong business/finance background and experience • Knowledge of commercial transactional process involved with sales • Previous experience negotiating multi-year contracts with large, global OEMs • Excellent communication and presentation skill
