📋 Description

• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot the organization's Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environment • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Virtual Cloud Network components, security lists, Network Security Groups, and firewall rules • Manage DNS zones, records, and resolution • Design, implement, and troubleshoot routing, route tables, dynamic routing gateways, VPN/FastConnect connectivity, and VCN peering • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues across OCI and hybrid connections • Create and manage IAM policies, compartments, groups, and dynamic groups • Administer user accounts, access provisioning/de-provisioning, and least-privilege access models • Configure and maintain federation between OCI and Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, including SSO and identity synchronization • Audit and review access policies for compliance with security standards • Configure and maintain OCI Monitoring, metrics, alarms, and notifications • Analyze utilization and performance metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and anomalies • Perform sizing and capacity planning for compute, storage, and network resources • Produce regular reporting on system health, cost, and capacity • Serve as a primary point of contact for OCI-related incidents, performing root cause analysis and remediation • Maintain documentation of configurations, standards, and operational procedures • Collaborate with security, application, and infrastructure teams on architecture and change requests • Stay current on OCI service updates, best practices, and emerging features

🎯 Requirements

• Experience administering Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or an equivalent public cloud platform such as AWS/Azure, with willingness to specialize in OCI • Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts, including firewalls/security rules, DNS, routing, VPN/interconnects • Experience with identity and access management, including policy design and federation using OCI IAM and Entra ID/Azure AD • Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools, metrics analysis, and capacity/sizing planning • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for complex, multi-layered technical issues • Good communication skills for cross-team collaboration and documentation • At least 3–5 years of professional experience • Active Public Trust Clearance • U.S. citizenship status required • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certification preferred, such as OCI Architect Associate/Professional • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform/OCI Resource Manager, preferred • Experience in hybrid cloud environments integrating on-premises and OCI resources, preferred
