📋 Description

• Perform moderately complex professional accounting work in recording and reporting financial transactions • Ensure timely and accurate posting, balancing, and reconciliation of the general ledger for each entity • Prepare work papers, financial statements, and reports for internal accounting and auditing • Research and analyze fluctuations between current financial results and prior year, prior month, and budgeted amounts • Work with independent and inter-company auditors to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements • Create and disseminate quarterly and annual statements, including conversion from GAAP accounting to statutory accounting • Recommend changes in accounting systems and procedures • Assist business partners with budget activity, expenditure coding, document preparation, and other accounting-related activities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field or equivalent experience • 2+ years experience in an accounting environment • 2+ years using accounting and auditing principles and practices, including GAAP and statutory accounting • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proficient in spreadsheet applications • Clean credit history as reported by credit report • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment • For remote roles, high level of engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings • Must comply with pre-employment substance abuse testing • Employees have access to sensitive personal information and must follow Information Security and Privacy Policies
