📋 Description

• Oversee training curriculum and instructional development across multiple audiences • Assess training needs for new product, process, and system rollouts • Create schedules for development, delivery, and evaluation methods • Design and develop learning programs for new-hire, new-role, product, process, and technology training • Develop instructional strategies, course materials, assessment techniques, and instructional technology integration • Design and produce print, graphics, audio, video, and multimedia learning materials • Project manage instructional design projects from inception to completion • Coordinate multimedia technology and authoring tools for online learning environments • Promote expanded use of Course Management Software tools • Train training staff on technology tools, instructional software, methods, and multimedia • Research and recommend educational best practices, instructional resources, technologies, and multimedia hardware/software • Evaluate training methodology and delivery technology, document findings, and lead improvement efforts • Work with Trainers to keep learning materials up to date • Lead the establishment of a Learning Management System for Sales training teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related subject or equivalent experience • 4+ years of instructional design and curriculum planning • Two years of facilitation experience in the classroom or virtual classroom • Experience using instructional software such as Captivate, Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK), and similar applications • Strong knowledge of training development best practices, including adult learning theory, learning styles, and writing and measuring effective objectives • Experience using research methodologies and techniques • Strong knowledge of instructional design processes and strategies, instructional technology media and materials development, curriculum standards, and assessments • Proven track record designing large, complex training rollouts of new systems and processes, assessing needs, determining scope, and utilizing resources effectively • Excellent communication skills to communicate with all levels within the organization • Exceptional time management skills and ability to coordinate multiple large projects • Advanced skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment • For remote or hybrid roles, high engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings • Must comply with VSP Vision Information Security and Privacy Policies • Subject to pre-employment substance abuse testing
