📋 Description

• Manage centralized operations for Ventures and current and future acquired practices • Manage people, processes, and systems related to central operations • Define, plan, implement, and optimize central operational processes, systems, and procedures • Collaborate with internal and external business partners to create best-practice operations • Oversee implementation, updates, administration, and monitoring of centralized practice management software • Oversee management of practices’ prior software until changed • Drive care-focused efficiencies, best practices, and high-quality eye care across practices • Improve supply chain planning and operations while building business efficiencies and scale • Manage continual improvement of supply chain, centralized software and hardware, vendor management, and PMS software • Forecast additional employee needs as Ventures grows and expands locations • Define, implement, and ensure product price and availability optimization analysis • Establish market differentiation through efficiencies, service, patient focus, and expertise • Manage within department budget and assess growth needs aligned with practice acquisitions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience • Minimum of 3 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of direct reports • Demonstrated knowledge of third-party plan configuration • Direct experience in revenue cycle management and insurance credentialing • Familiarity with optical industry practices and procedures • Demonstrated understanding of point of sales (POS) systems and inventory management • Strong business acumen, including experience working with KPIs and other performance metrics • Experience in the optometric industry with a strong understanding of optical office flow, optical software, planning and supply chain management • Proven experience managing external vendors, employees and products at multiple locations • Demonstrated ability to supervise and effectively communicate workplace changes • Demonstrated ability to develop plans to accommodate growth • Demonstrated ability to analyze and improve work processes • Highly organized and able to adapt to quickly changing priorities • Self-motivated and driven toward achievement of long-term goals • Able to develop, work against, and meet tight and aggressive deadlines and goals • Ability to travel 30% of the time • For remote or hybrid roles, high engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings
