📋 Description

• Provide confidential administrative support to the Human Resources department, HR staff, employees, leaders, recruitment, benefits, recordkeeping, and system administration • Support the HR recruitment function, including programs, projects, and general HR activities • Conduct research, analyze data, make recommendations, and coordinate miscellaneous activities • Prepare and manage online job postings and maintain the VSP Careers site as it relates to recruitment • Use applicant tracking systems to manage job postings and candidate activities • Complete and monitor Federal Form I-9 compliance and USCIS guideline changes • Liaise with vendors to research and resolve issues • Advise hiring managers, employees, and external applicants on Talent Acquisition matters • Manage new hire activities and communicate progress to hiring managers • Support the Pathways to Premier Program, including requisition support and job postings • Run reports and submit employee referral program payouts • Ensure timely and accurate completion of new employee forms • Manage background checks, drug screens, and employment verifications • Independently address requests and escalate complex inquiries to HR centers of excellence

🎯 Requirements

• Two to four years of experience providing high level administrative service and/or supporting projects • Knowledge of Human Resources general practices and principles • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Some experience giving presentations • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage a multi-tasked workload • Ability to navigate HRIS, intranet, Applicant Tracking Systems, and external vendor sites • Knowledge of various computer software applications • For remote or hybrid roles, high engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings • Must complete pre-employment substance abuse testing • Must comply with Information Security and Privacy Policies when accessing sensitive personal information
