📋 Description

• Provide high-level, confidential administrative support to the Human Resources department, including HR staff, employees and leaders, recruitment, benefits, recordkeeping, and system administration • Support the HR recruitment function, including programs, projects, and general HR activities • Conduct research, analyze data, make recommendations, and coordinate miscellaneous activities • Prepare and manage online job postings, ensuring accurate and timely representation of all jobs • Maintain and recommend improvements to the VSP Careers site regarding job postings and recruitment • Use online applicant tracking systems to manage job postings and candidate activities • Complete Federal Form I-9 in coordination with new employees and monitor USCIS guidelines for compliance • Liaise with vendors to research and resolve issues • Advise and counsel hiring managers, employees, and external applicants on Talent Acquisition issues • Manage new-hire activities, communicate progress to hiring managers, and ensure timely completion of onboarding forms • Provide administrative support to the Pathways to Premier Program • Run reports and submit employee referral program payouts accurately and timely • Ensure accurate and timely completion of new employee forms • Manage background checks, drug screens, and employment verifications • Address requests and issues independently and escalate complex inquiries to appropriate HR centers of excellence

🎯 Requirements

• Two to four years of experience providing high level administrative service and/or supporting projects • Knowledge of Human Resources general practices and principles • Proficient with spreadsheet, word processing and presentation applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with some experience giving presentations • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multi-tasked workload • Ability to navigate multiple computer applications, including HRIS, intranet, multiple Applicant Tracking Systems, and external vendor sites • Knowledge of various computer software applications • For remote or hybrid roles, must demonstrate a high level of engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings • Must complete pre-employment substance abuse testing • VSP Vision employees have access to sensitive personal information and must follow Information Security and Privacy Policies
