📋 Description

• Service auto loan accounts that are 61+ days delinquent • Document all collection activities using loan servicing software • Follow and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) • Negotiate payment arrangements with borrowers • Suggest ways borrowers can meet their loan obligations • Propose alternative payment methods and establish payment procedures • Assist borrowers in devising strategies to keep their vehicle while meeting loan obligations • Accurately and professionally document account information and collection activities • Use skip tracing tools and reference sources to identify and locate delinquent borrowers • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ year(s) of experience in the automotive collections field working 61+ day delinquency • 2+ year(s) of skip tracing experience • Reinstatements experience is a plus • Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills • Ability to read, interpret and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations • Ability to interact with customers in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and to work independently and as part of a team • Available to work a flexible work schedule and overtime as needed • High School Diploma or GED • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required • Must comply with applicable work authorization requirements; employer participates in E-Verify
