📋 Description

• Provide technical development for the AIM product line and related projects • Create software design and code work products to meet project requirements and milestones • Develop software based on requirements and design • Collaborate with the software team to extend existing components and implement client requirements • Support design activities and reviews • Analyze code and system functionality • Follow engineering guidelines and processes • Continuously improve software quality • Travel to customer locations domestically and internationally • Perform other duties outside the primary function when required, with adequate training

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science, MIS, Software or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience building scalable software, including design, implementation, debugging, and support • Knowledge of design patterns and RESTful API patterns • Experience applying data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design • Proficiency in at least two of Java, C/C++, C#, and Python • Experience with agile software development principles and practices, particularly Scrum • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. • Ability to talk, hear, see and observe small print on a computer screen • Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods • Ability to perform repetitive hand motions and type on a keyboard • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally to customer locations • Passenger and freight rail domain experience preferred • Understanding of IETMS rail domain protocols preferred • Node.js and JavaScript experience preferred • Python experience preferred • Architecture experience preferred • AI/ML experience preferred
