📋 Description

• Lead Merchandise Finance in a high-visibility role reporting directly to the CFO • Partner with the Chief Merchandising Officer, Chief Growth Officer, and Chief Operating Officer • Design, build, and execute Spreetail’s retail merchandise plan • Own FP&A for Merchandise/Retail, Channels & Business Development, and Marketing • Track weekly performance against plan and hold teams accountable to results • Identify key KPIs and build reporting that surfaces business drivers and trends • Drive measurable business actions from financial insights • Build, develop, and motivate a team of approximately five FP&A managers and analysts • Scale the team’s processes and tools as the business grows • Use SQL to pull and structure analyses • Work directly in financial models, data, and presentations as needed

🎯 Requirements

• 8–10+ years in business, finance, or accounting • 5+ years leading FP&A teams • Ideally, a track record of building and scaling a team of 5 or more • Background in retail, ecommerce, or merchandise finance • Experience supporting multiple business lines or P&Ls, such as retail/merchandise, marketing, and channel/business development • Strong SQL skills and ability to independently work with data • Advanced Excel experience • BI tool experience • Experience presenting to and influencing C-suite executives • Strong project management skills • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments • Residence in one of the eligible states for the Work Your Way program: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, or Wyoming
