📋 Description

• Analyze, review and report on positive outpatient laboratory results • Monitor results queues of all sites and report delays in reporting or patient care • Clear lab queues of negative results • Communicate with patients regarding positive results or treatment changes in collaboration with providers • Call patients with results when indicated and send mail when patients cannot be reached by phone • Work within the team of RNs to ensure timely review and reporting of results and treatment changes, with provider oversight • Report communicable diseases to state departments of health

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in acute care and lab interpretation is highly preferred • Ability to work well independently • Strong conversational skills • Strong customer service skills • 2 or 4 year completion of an accredited nursing program • Licensed Registered Professional Nurse or Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree required • License is active in one of the following states: NY, IL, IN, MI, or PA • Ability to handle stress effectively and work under frequent deadlines and interruptions • Good visual and hearing acuity • Ability to utilize keyboard and view computer screens up to 90% of shift • Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with others • Ability to perform specified physical activities and repetitive hand/wrist motions • Ability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 10 pounds
