📋 Description

• Serve in a supervisory role during installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Westinghouse refueling and I&C equipment at operating nuclear power plants • Support outage activities involving reactor internals and other critical plant systems • Provide technical review in the design and operation of fuel handling equipment, focusing on installation ease and maintainability • Support project and resource management and operations • Perform field service technician, service lead, and shift supervisor activities • Manage field projects, including planning, scheduling, crew work assignments, customer orientation, and technical conflict resolution • Lead field installation, equipment setup, troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance of refueling equipment at customer sites • Provide design engineering support through design and procedure reviews and preparation of field installation documents • Document equipment design and performance issues during field implementation and ensure corrective actions and lessons learned are completed • Support manufacturing through equipment setup and testing, mock-up preparation, and equipment and process qualifications • Participate in factory equipment setup • Lead Factory Acceptance Testing with customers • Provide customer equipment maintenance and operational training • Develop training programs and lesson plans and present training to less experienced technicians • Practice ALARA principles and maintain a Safety First attitude • Provide technical direction and guide personnel in equal or lower classifications • Report to the Product Manager of ELA Outage and Maintenance Services

🎯 Requirements

• High school graduate or recognized equivalent • 2+ years of degree/certificate training or appropriate field experience • Specific knowledge and training in AC/DC electrical, motor controls, electronics, and mechanical curriculum • Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) ladder logic programming • Knowledge of several motor drives, including servo motor drives • Exceed all requirements for Level 1, 2, and 3 Technician position descriptions and critical skill qualifications • 6+ years related field and outage experience in leading field projects • Meet Westinghouse and customer security, unescorted access, and fitness for duty program requirements • Ability to occasionally carry/lift up to 50 pounds • Full range of motion, including reaching, climbing, kneeling, squatting, grasping, bending, sitting, and standing for at least 4 hours per day • Pass a Westinghouse physical, including a spirometer test for the ability to wear a respirator • Travel up to 80% of the time • Maintain Unescorted Access status • Ability to work with hazardous materials in a radiological controlled area within an operating nuclear power plant • Ability to meet applicable United States export control requirements
