📋 Description

• Promote Make-A-Wish’s enterprise-wide vision and strategy for revenue growth • Manage a portfolio of chapters according to a standard service model • Implement the service model for portfolio chapters through strategy discussions, moves management sessions, donor meeting preparation, solicitation preparation, and lead generation • Drive enterprise-wide revenue growth and portfolio chapter year-over-year revenue goals • Lead implementation of local development plans aligned with local and enterprise-wide strategic plans • Maintain knowledge of Revenue department initiatives, identify chapter opportunities, and resource chapter participation • Support fundraising KPIs and metrics across major gifts, foundations, corporate channels, collaborative fundraising, and donor stewardship • Convene fundraisers and leaders from portfolio chapters to exchange ideas and workshop challenges • Foster creativity, collaboration, donor-centric fundraising, and a culture of philanthropy and growth • Participate in designing and delivering training programs aligned with shared vision, strategy, and playbook • Identify emerging fundraising talent for career development • Source and develop templates, tools, and chapter best practices for the enterprise-wide resource library • Collaborate with national departments including CRLs, Integrated Marketing, Corporate, Leadership Gifts, Revenue Operations, Planned Giving, and Brand • Train and support chapter staff in Salesforce/database management best practices • Support revenue reporting and tracking using Salesforce and Power BI • Partner with the Revenue Advancement Network Council on best practices and enterprise-wide fundraising training • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visas or other immigration processes are not sponsored • Sales management expertise and advanced experience leveraging data, change management, and coaching • Subject-matter expertise in metrics-driven fundraising, including high-volume, fast-paced, scalable growth programs • Demonstrated track record of one-on-one fundraising solicitations, including closing multiple gifts at the $10K+ level while achieving revenue goals of $500K+ • Demonstrated track record of leading change resulting in revenue growth • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills • Ability to manage time effectively and manage in all directions as appropriate • Ability to articulate the organization’s mission, vision, and urgency while matching them with donor interests • Bachelor’s degree in Non-Profit Management, Marketing, Communication, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred • Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in Fundraising/Development, focused on major gifts • Strong interpersonal skills with donors, volunteers, and executive team members • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM fundraising databases required • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and computer skills required • Ability to thrive in a remote work environment • Ability to travel up to 20% for internal and external meetings • May require work outside a traditional Monday–Friday work week and normal business hours
