📋 Description

• Manage maintenance operations in an industrial oil and gas/LPG facility • Hire and train maintenance crews and technicians • Inspect facilities and operation systems to identify maintenance needs • Plan yearly inspections, turnarounds, preventive maintenance, and repair operations • Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work • Supervise tradesmen during installations, repairs, and maintenance • Contribute to the maintenance budget and ensure compliance • Monitor materials and equipment inventory • Coordinate projects including turnarounds and equipment replacements • Ensure compliance with quality standards, health and safety regulations, policies, procedures, and regulatory documentation • Analyze drawings, wiring diagrams, and electrical and hydraulic schematics for troubleshooting, repair, calibration, modification, and installation • Interpret weld symbols, select filler metals, and apply fabrication practices • Service electronic devices and electronic control systems • Sketch parts and construct component adaptations or conversions • Perform oil and gas terminal troubleshooting, rotating equipment repair, preventive maintenance, and unplanned-event response • Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, pneumatic controls, boilers, instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, and cooling systems • Inspect equipment and communicate with peers and managers • Use electrical testing tools and mechanical trade equipment • Troubleshoot process-related deviations and problems to maintain equipment reliability • Perform minor repairs, improvements, and preventive maintenance on process equipment • Work during facility turnarounds, shutdowns, unexpected maintenance events, and rotating shifts • Perform other assigned duties and meet attendance requirements

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required • Two- or four-year degree from an accredited college or university, or qualifying experience/specific knowledge • Alternatively, honorable discharge from the U.S. military in a technically oriented discipline or degree • Alternatively, three years of terminal oil and gas operations maintenance experience • Alternatively, five years of general industry experience as an electrician, pipefitter, instrumentation technician, steamfitter, millwright, or industrial mechanic, including relevant trade certifications • Valid motor vehicle operator's license and satisfactory driving record • Must complete required customer and location safety training/certification • Must meet foreign trade zone entry requirements, including U.S. Coast Guard and Department of Homeland Security background checks and obtaining/maintaining a TWIC • Must pass a drug screen and complete a background check before employment • Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or in a similar role • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems • Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations • Understanding of budgeting and performance management • Planning and leadership abilities • Computer and software proficiency • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Minimum five years of industrial maintenance experience preferred • Previous supervisory experience preferred • Experience with preventive/planned maintenance processes, procedures, and scheduling preferred • Experience maintaining boilers, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and cooling equipment • Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics • Flexible availability Monday through Friday, including possible overtime, weekends, and holidays • Must read, speak, and understand English in verbal and written communication • Expertise in systems troubleshooting and strong mechanical aptitude • Aptitude for documentation and data analysis • Familiarity with LPG gas and equipment design and installation, including piping systems and facility support equipment • Preferred chemical, refining, terminal, gas processing, refinery, or energy-facility maintenance experience • Preferred proficiency in instrumentation calibration and electrical, optical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems • Demonstrated commitment to environmental responsibility and regulatory compliance • Ability to work independently with tact, discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality • Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather, at heights above five feet, in confined spaces, and in elevated work areas • Ability to stand, walk, climb, and work extended periods • Ability to lift or move up to 55 pounds • Ability to work 12+ hour rotating shifts when required • Ability to enter and climb above-grade storage tanks and ladders approximately 50 feet • Ability to work safely around industrial and electrical equipment and temperature extremes
